The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 完全是想一出是一出，剧本的弱智程度堪比国内商业片，随意程度堪比万万没想到，又尬又无聊。

虽然也是一镜到底，但没有1917那样气势恢宏，也没有硬核亨利那样惊险刺激，全程跟打游戏开挂一样，而且选难度级别最低，适合萌菜

【8分】电影特点尤为突出，从起始到结尾的长镜头确实赚足了噱头，走位调控流畅，运镜分配明晰，连贯的视觉观感与线性的故事走向，拥有极具新意的视听体验，以及直观的内容表达。因一镜到底的拍摄手法制约，镜头转向会有些许虚像与摇晃，视角单一，画面缺少剪辑带来的张力，但这也是制作工艺的取舍，得失参半。剧情主线和人物关系简单，小场景里的小事件，但是影片胜在节奏轻快与记录写实，逼真的战场硝烟，真实的肉搏格斗，宛如现场的场景重现，使得观感冲击更为强烈
虽然这部写得很烂(毕竟编剧不在了)但是等小破抓鬼车响起滋儿哇滋儿哇的声音我的眼泪就忍不住往下掉了。。满满童年回忆啊啊啊！！！
给小孩看，小孩不知道捉鬼敢死队。给大人看，大人已不是当年的小孩。
情怀续作了。当年电影IP改编了许多游戏制作，就是今天switch上大热的路易洋馆，也未必不是衍生品。秉承了系列怪诞大条的做派，就是一种老美的自大，恰当的题材下就显为非凡勇气：这孩子怎么就不怕鬼。
一镜到底的视觉感觉有点晃晕，吃鸡游戏真人版，枪枪断腿爆头，ak47手枪手雷各种一顿操作，爽片不错，情节不用细究。

幽灵化的祖父、实在缺失的父亲、无法给予认同的母亲，可以说片中菲比对其祖父的追寻，正是对那一缺失的“父亲形象”的追寻，而导演也正是通过这样，影片的内与外的链接，既怀旧(影片本身)与祖父(“父亲形象”)的链接，而建构与唤起那一传统价值观念中，人们对于想象、全能的“父亲形象”的认同的。

一镜到底拍摄手法让人代入感很强，后段的CQB也很专业，总之低成本片子中的精品。
时隔37年的续集，情怀分拉的很满。当《捉鬼敢死队》原班人马现身的一刻，好像所有的回忆一下子都回来了（棉花糖人的梗依旧还在）。虽说剧情有些草率，但也算有血有肉有故事，比很多刻意煽情的续作好出很多。卡斯强大，蚁人与暗夜比邻星大谈恋爱真是跌破眼镜。尤其不得不提一下洛根金的演出，灵性十足，未来看好。总体而言作为茶余饭后的消遣之作，算合格了。
